Tackles everything from powder to ice
The Freeride was developed to tackle any kind of snow and terrain you might find in the backcountry.
The combination of high-speed stability, maneuverability and catch-free properties has made the Freeride one of the most talked about snowboards of the past few years. Its long sidecut radius makes the snowboard calm and forgiving, while the rocker and reverse sidecut in nose and tail makes it float remarkably well in powder and remain catch free.
We’ve found a small batch of splitboards in the warehouse.
Instead of letting them collect dust, we’d like to see them being used – so we’re now offering them at a heavily discounted price.
We want to be fully transparent: this model has a lighter wood core, and may break more easily under heavy load than the very durable splitboards Furberg Snowboards is known for.
That’s why we mainly recommend them for:
- Lighter riders
- Less aggressive riders
If you’re planning mellow tours and looking for a light board (approximately 2950g for size 160), this could be a very affordable option.

The Pow was designed with one goal in mind; to outperform every other board on the deepest days.
Its long full rocker in combination with reverse sidecut in nose and tail makes it effortless to ride. To further improve the performance in powder we have added a small fishtail, but kept the tail high enough to still make it possible to land switch every now and then. This board can charge hard in all conditions despite its powder specific shape.
